‘Enveloppé dans le Sang ’
- For the theme ‘Out of Nature’, I chose to look as blood as my motif from nature and its associations with life, death and power. I also used references from the French Revolution and John Galliano’s designs for the Christian Dior 2006 Fall Couture Collection.

Materials: dress: skin-coloured ‘bodice’ (lycra bodydress) with tubing attached to mimic blood vessels with bandaging wrapped around; various fabrics pinned, wrapped and draped to form a ruined ‘skirt’.

‘Mémoires de l’Indochine’
- Vietnam as the former colony of French Indochina and its often romanticised depictions in film and literature served as the inspiration for this collection of accessories, with references from French Rococo art and the 2007 Spring Ready-to-Wear Louis Vuitton collection. Each piece is meant to reflect subtle elements of Eastern and Western style element and motifs. White was chosen as the dominant colour for the collection because of its association with the Western image of Vietnamese women in a white traditional dress.
